this natural disaster
‘i can’t say with any certainty
that any of my dreams
will materialize
unfulfilled wishes abound
this natural disaster
unfounded wisdoms
appealing to us
quickly and easily
disappearing into the dust
the convenient, martyr
to market the disintegration
harvested to take the fury
out of uncivilized serene
dripping, drops, injected
poison whispers society
drifting, dropping, rejected
society turned over to poisons
as the lessons are
vomited onto the (dinner?) table
a civilized refrain
the surface portrays
a satisfied sanctimonious cry’
