Minions of the baggage we are…
It may seem petty to speak in an authoritative manner about who we are as the civilization grows up around us, and thus voiding anyone from truly being an authority on anything that gets lost in the maze this world supplies…Influences and inspiration remain sharp through the dredging up of elder generations and their hardcore viewpoints…Flesh bags of meat and spoiled juices?…There’s no good shit for free unless you allow the blinders to block out your real needs and desires…Though it is quite simpler to perceive those details after the fact rather than during…Retrospection provides the energy for enemies to be created from friends…As a horde, we walk through the intellectual desert to find the sustenance of our minds yearning, and sometimes the distracted path towards something lesser is far easier to approach than a difficult path that requires patience…Trudging along is not wholly so glum a feat, even though the movement may be tedious, but exercise keeps the shape we’re in resilient….flexible even…It can be a dark and lonely walk as well, but without choosing your own desire to make ends meet naturally, you can find yourself where you couldn’t see moments ago….embracing the unknown in a reactive fashion…You must know how unwilling you are to choose a path that others have gone down before…’the road to hell is paved with good intention’ says to me that the road built up from the one simple step of good intent and original ideal becomes the road that others think they can master by knowing your footsteps, but in so taking the trip down this particular path, the judgments of others who are walking the road at same time can be like stones…Thrown out at the unsuspecting weary traveler because they follow their hearts, seeing a slightly different path to tread, and the jealous show their truer hearts when they do these malicious things to another…The wary will allow false judgments and praise to fall on deaf ears as they stride further forward toward the destination they “see”, but the unwary will easily fall away from such chatter to find an easier way of life for themselves…I feel that last part is where a good majority of us lump together, into the easier way, and regret only comes with knowing that we were walking a greater path for who we really are, it could even have been a spiritually-enriching direction…All this before we realize the need to die.
Thanks, khet.
