Defiance (and not the town I grew up next to).

An essay on Satanism from the perspective of an artist, with questions into mindless puppetry, and method of religion. The emotions can contradict the knowledge, and force the body to follow through with actions that would create a hypocritical nature, projected as a shield to relieve the strain of the outside world. A place with many projected hostilities, where people learn the instinct to express their problems into other space that deserves respect, and this action relieves them of their burden to feel real pain. Organization is not without a certain matter of truth beneath the glossy, hope-filled creme pies that fill the mouth of the layman. Being too intellectual about this is too extreme to be natural, but too emotional a response can damn the individual among the peers. Restricting ideas is evil, but demons are as real as one would faithfully believe is true only to themselves, possibly with those they associate with are filling their heads with the wrong impression too prematurely. People are not inherently evil, but their actions do call into question their motives, making them bad people locked in a cycle of hatred until they destroy themselves. It is cruel that there are even any persons who would fall victim to these monsters, but to defend these creatures is more disturbing, inherently destructive to the society where atrocities take place. Religion is no defense for what a person would choose to do of their own free will, taking home those creme-filled pies in place of inner understanding, or reducing the open mind into a further limiting set of categories and labels which reflect nothing real. I choose no organized brainwash to make my soul twitch and dance around in praise, intense contrasting feelings about other relative god worships, and diverting my attention in other directions. Only stupid people need to kill one another, and only then for the attention it garners. I am not ashamed to have not killed much of anything, but the terrain is not as solid as that, magic is understanding and respecting the trick. Much like a martial art, it need not be performed for respect to be earned, but experience needs to be what fills out the knowledge into true learning. No college or particular school of information regulation can more powerfully create a foundation of ideas as experience, and that takes focus and self-discipline concentrated into a decisive direction in which to build upon, no diversion of pure energy to illogical faith. Though not wholly unaware faithlessness either, but more or less a state of realized peace with self, even the parts that take a while to get used to. That is the Satanism that I know and utilize best, not taking for granted or hiding that negative energy, but finding the balanced channel into positive energy. One would trust it to be simple, but it takes a strong stomach against the outside propaganda pitching its words, throwing out god’s loyalties together with concepts like patriotism. Unifying a nation under god invariably removes any ideas of being pleasantly in charge of one’s own darker side, and living with the harmonious results everyday, taking pride in the moments that I can be here to live. People can pretend the crutch for as long as it suits them, but even that behavior can catch up quickly if left unchecked, delivering unreasonable but logical consequences for actions taken. Understanding is half the battle, but the other half relies upon the experience. Together we grow into the masses, and if we include the fire that burns within us, there is nothing the species of animal known as human cannot collectively accomplish. If left unchecked, we can destroy ourselves, or resign ourselves to the eventual popping sound of fading away. If moderated and focused, the life we live can and will spin further into the abject immortality that some people seek to be affected by, and thus effects our very future in subtle but strong ways. Destiny can be conceived of negatively to represent restriction, but sometimes it may be quite the opposite, and actually lead directly to the outcome of certain patterns leading to one another. If you put your senses to a pattern you can feel it, but if you put your self to the pattern, you can better be a part of it. Projecting the presence, the light that drives the soul, and being who you want to be are not altogether that separate from similar to each other. The body is the transmitter, and the soul is the light within, what projects is the action and direction of the self. Sometimes it takes a “deadly sin” to make things happen, just because some people play by the rules does not mean others among them will, and with morals becoming raised into the invention of a civilized animal…
