what is a depression? what is the reality of feeling bad, or those repercussions that radiate from the essence of being depressed? The typically uncaring and indifferent pass by these sad specimen all the time in as bustling an urban landscrape as the one in which I seem to inhabit. the attentions of any one person are mild and passive unless the circumstances provoke completely different responses. such attempts at unwarranted attention are activities like car wrecks and any place cop cars are likely flash their bells and whistles. the street are rife with all kinds of intolerable entities as well as the downtrodden, and it is these creatures that one should have an eye for, using and abusing another’s misfortune. insinuating themselves to such a degree that their presence is purely parasitic for practical survival. attaching their soul-sucking …

Alchemical Manipulation

A thumb drive with sequencing software and enough free space to save hours of music, drums samples, and hopefully more instrument patches….

I’m giving serious thought to setting aside the hard rock/metal genre for this… It’s easy as hell to write, just point and click, drag and drop….

I must say though, once I have a real handle on the software, I’ll be using it to create sonic backdrops to live guitar and bass.  The wonderful thing is the ability to sequence beats then copy/paste them as needed… No more dealing with subpar acoustic drum recordings and the fact that the beats I hear in my head I lack the ability to play live.  I never said I was a drummer damnit, and drummers around here all suck for one …

Summer is going well, with all its extra fun and challenges. Tristan is here and so I’ve found ways to interject lots of online gaming into my work schedule. Little Monsters.

At Holy Poke Elementary, the games were not always in fun. A teacher might piss off some of the faculty, or perhaps just some of the students, either way meant terrible consequences. The little monsters were not partial toward Jesus or priests or even God itself. Torture and corruption were hallmarks of the manipulated system that Holy Poke had become. The errant ways of children became a hobby for most of the staff here, either tolerant and accepted, or mean and despised. The children only saw a black and white contrast to the whole mess, and it was murky at best to get a good glimpse of the faculty’s real motivations.
Tolerance towards anyone was low on the priority list of students and staff alike, and when all-out war broke out between students and teachers, trust was irrevocably shattered for …
